Granary brown bread

The Granary Foodstore Homemade Brown Bread

An Old Family Recipe

In honour of National Bread Week this week, I decided to share an old family recipe for our delicious homemade brown bread.

This is my grandmother’s recipe which was passed down to my mum and now on to me and which has been enjoyed by our family over the years.

It is a lovely nutty flavoured loaf which is easy to make. It is great served with a bowl of comforting soup or enjoy it simply by itself with butter and some tasty jam or marmalade.

Let me know how you get on or if you have any questions…
